It’s never too late to start physical exercise and take your own activity to the next level! Physical activity is important in every age, including in elderly people because it has been proven that it has a positive effect on the prevention and rehabilitation of a number of painful conditions and diseases that occur with aging.
Some of the most common are cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis and lower back pain that we are specifically focused on in the Hepa S – Health and Fitness Assessment for Seniors project. To keep physical exercise safe, it is recommended that all people over the age of 35 (and those who have certain health disorders) consult their primary care physician before engaging in various forms of physical activity.
