The Zagreb Sports Recreation Association “Sport for All” participated in the jubilee 5th “Međimurje Festival of Nordic Walking Sports Recreation – Goričan 2026”, with 100 Nordic walkers out of a total of 400 participants in the Festival.
In addition to enjoying the beautiful trails of Goričan – from the easy walk “Get to know Goričan” to longer routes – our team once again showed how recreation can have a strong ecological message.
As part of the promotion of the NW ECO project co-financed by the European Commission, our participants actively collected waste during the walk, and after completing the route, they **responsibly sorted all the collected material into containers**
The festival, like every year, offered a rich program – from the Nordic walking competition “Gorica Askos Cup”, through traditional Međimurje delicacies, to a great atmosphere with live music .
We are proud to be part of such an event that combines healthy living, togetherness and care for the environment!
