ecology topics and international camps and festivals.
Association “Sport for All”, Belgrade was founded in 1992 with a desire to contribute to increasing the number of physically active citizens of all the ages, as well as to promote different activities through its programmes. During the whole time of our existence, they have implemented a number of regular and occasional programs, involving tens of thousands of people in all of Belgrade municipalities. Their main activities are: promoting and organizing recreational activities in collaboration with our member associations; organizing seminars and conferences to exchange best practices and educate sport experts; creating and organizing programs that promote physical activity within all age groups, etc.
“Sport for all” Belgrade is one of the pillars of recreational sports, recognized by numerous popular and mass actions and events. Good cooperation with media, citizens’ associations, our members, Serbian Institute for Public Health “Milan Jovanovic Batut”, Serbian Institute of Sport and sports medicine and the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Belgrade, have contributed that they become the most prominent part of the recreation movement in Belgrade. They are active member of Sports Association of Belgrade and Association Sport for All Serbia.
For many years, Association Sport for all is organizing throughout the year Activities for third age, intended for senior citizens 65+. Activities combine outdoor physical activities for seniors and activities within gerontology centres. All the activities are performed by our licensed sport experts and monitored by medical staff. Their associates are professors of physical education, with over 30 years of experience and expertise in different areas of sport and recreation with all age groups and particularly focused on senior citizens.
